Welcome

Dr. Amber has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2011. She studied at The University of Delaware, Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at N.C. State University in Raleigh, NC. Dr. Amber worked at Warren Animal Hospital, in Phillipsburg NJ, since graduating veterinary school and continued there until deciding to open HVC. Dr. Amber also performed surgery at Peaceable Kingdom in Whitehall and is a member of the AVMA, American Veterinarian Medical Association.  Dr. Amber  grew up in the Lehigh Valley and now resides in Lower Saucon Township with her husband, daughter, son and 6 dogs! If you know Amber, or as you get to, she has a love for Boston Terriers, there is a good chance that you will get to meet one of them hanging out at the practice right here in Hellertown! 

Originally from the Lehigh Valley, Dr. Snyder completed his undergraduate schooling from The Pennsylvania State University, earning a bachelor's degree in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences. He then moved out to Southern California to attend Western Universities College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2021. After working a few years for a corporate veterinary hospital, he is eager to be joining HVC in private practice medicine.  Outside of caring for animals, his hobbies include outdoor activities such as biking the rail trail, local hikes and fishing with friends. He is also an avid college football fan (WE ARE!), so Saturday's are devoted to PSU football! You can also expect to see him at local car shows, considering his passion for cars. He currently resides here in Hellertown with his two cats, Paco and Rio!

Kaitlyn has always had a passion to be part of a community that cares for and helps animals, this passion has brought her to Hellertown Veterinary Center. She is a certified veterinary technician, graduating in 2017,  from Northampton Community College. She is a movie enthusiast and won't pass up an opportunity to relax on the couch with her 5 dogs and 4  cats, if they give her enough space! 

Kelsey  brings years of experience to HVC.  She has previously worked at several small animal hospitals in the Lehigh Valley.  Kelsey is a certified veterinary technician, graduating  in 2014, from Lehigh Carbon Community College. When not relaxing with her dog, she and her husband enjoy many outdoor activities. Including hiking, camping, trail running, rock climbing, horseback riding and snowboarding to name a few! 

Jess brings years of experience to our practice and we are happy that she has joined us! Jess' full bio will be coming soon!

Stephanie is an experienced CVT that has joined our practice in July.  Her  full bio will be coming soon!

Stacey is always ready to greet  you with a smile. She has joined us to begin a new journey in the veterinary industry. She has many years experience in education and receptionist fields. Stacey enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter , son and two dogs. Many of her evenings and weekends can been found at the baseball field cheering on her son and also watching the Philadelphia sports teams!

Carol brings over 20 years of veterinary experience to our practice! She has worked at various veterinary facilities over the years to gain a wealth of knowledge.  She is always willing to assist you with questions or concerns you may have. Carol enjoys spending time outdoors with her horses and has a love for Dachshund's. 

Kelly completed a Veterinary Assistant program at Hunterdon County Vocational School in 2020. She has much experience in the veterinary field working at various boarding facilities and as an animal caretaker for over 6 years. She has a passion for veterinary medicine and is working more hands on as a Tech Assistant. Kelly enjoys keeping a fun work environment and isn't afraid to make her coworkers have a good laugh when needed!  From her experiences with boarding animals, she brings a calming environment to nervous cats and dogs, aiding the doctors and staff creating a more stress free environment. When not at work she enjoys taking her dog, Honeynut, for walks and on hiking trails. When not on a new adventure they are inside snuggling and binge watching a new TV show or watching something from her massive DVD collection!
